NDIS Community Nursing in Sunshine Coast — Registered Nurses In Your Home

About Our Service in Sunshine Coast

Registered nurses providing NDIS community nursing across Sunshine Coast, in the participant’s home. Wound care, catheter management, diabetes support, medication administration, PEG feeding, and complex clinical care — delivered by nurses who understand both the clinical task and the NDIS context that surrounds it.
The Sunshine Coast covers a vast geographic area from Caloundra in the south to Noosa in the north, and inland to the hinterland communities of Maleny, Montville, and Eumundi. Each pocket has a distinct character — the family-focused coastal suburbs, the retirement communities at Pelican Waters and Caloundra, the holiday-led Noosa area, and the rural-residential hinterland. Our rostering reflects that geography.

Why Choose Aussie Bridge Care in Sunshine Coast

Our Sunshine Coast nursing team is based in the region. That means shorter travel times, faster response for urgent clinical issues, and nurses who know the local GP practices, Sunshine Coast University Hospital (major public tertiary), Nambour General Hospital, Caloundra Health Service, and Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital, and specialist clinics. Clinical care at home only works when the nurse can actually get there when needed — which is why we don’t service Sunshine Coast from a Brisbane-only roster.

Getting to Appointments and Activities

The Sunshine Coast rail corridor runs through Nambour, Woombye, Palmwoods, Eumundi, and Yandina with Beerwah and Glass House Mountains further south. The Beerwah-Maroochydore heavy rail extension is under construction but not yet operational. Bus networks are strong through TransLink. We drive participants directly when rail doesn’t fit the destination. Key health facilities we regularly support participants to: Sunshine Coast University Hospital (major public tertiary), Nambour General Hospital, Caloundra Health Service, and Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital.
