NDIS Community Nursing in Gold Coast — Registered Nurses In Your Home
About Our Service in Gold Coast
Registered nurses providing NDIS community nursing across Gold Coast, in the participant’s home. Wound care, catheter management, diabetes support, medication administration, PEG feeding, and complex clinical care — delivered by nurses who understand both the clinical task and the NDIS context that surrounds it.
The Gold Coast is the largest non-capital city in Australia with a population over 700,000, and its NDIS participant numbers have grown fast. The region is long and linear, stretching about 55km from Coomera in the north to Coolangatta in the south. Supporting participants here means understanding the different cultures of the northern growth suburbs, the beach communities, and the older established areas in the south.

Why Choose Aussie Bridge Care in Gold Coast
Our Gold Coast nursing team is based in the region. That means shorter travel times, faster response for urgent clinical issues, and nurses who know the local GP practices, Gold Coast University Hospital (major tertiary), Robina Hospital, and John Flynn Private Hospital Tugun, and specialist clinics. Clinical care at home only works when the nurse can actually get there when needed — which is why we don’t service Gold Coast from a Brisbane-only roster.
- 20+ years NDIS and pre-NDIS disability support experience
- Registered NDIS provider — works with agency, plan, and self-managed participants
- Support workers based in Gold Coast — shorter travel, better local knowledge
- Multicultural team reflecting Gold Coast's diverse community
- Named coordinator for every participant — not a call centre

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get NDIS community nursing added to my plan if it's not there?
You need clinical evidence of the need — a GP letter, specialist report, or hospital discharge summary specifying nursing care requirements. Bring that to your next plan review, or request an unscheduled review if you have an urgent clinical need. We can help prepare the evidence if that would be useful.
Do you service Gold Coast on weekends?
Yes. Routine weekday nursing visits run 7am-7pm across Gold Coast. We also provide weekend nursing visits for routine and urgent care. High-intensity participants get 24/7 on-call clinical advice.
Can one of your nurses coordinate with my GP in Gold Coast?
Yes. That’s standard practice. On your first visit, we request a summary from your GP (with your consent), and we report back after every significant clinical event — or monthly for routine care. The nursing care plan is always signed off by your GP.
What if I need a nurse urgently after hours?
If it’s a clinical emergency, call 000 or present to Gold Coast emergency. For urgent but non-emergency clinical advice, our on-call nurse is available 24/7 to SIL and high-intensity participants. For other participants, we return calls within one business day.
